The purposes of the ICMDA (UK) CIO are:
- the advancement of the Christian faith including the promotion of biblical values and beliefs;
- the advancement of education in medicine, dentistry, health and related areas;
- and the relief of sickness and suffering and the advancement of healthcare;
Provided that the advancement of such purposes must be undertaken in a manner that is consistent with the Basis of Faith and the Ethos Statements as may be adopted and amended by the CIO from time to time.
